Summer Camp - Two Mile Bottom Scout and Guide Campsite, Thetford Forest.
We had the chance to join with 1st Fenland (Wisbech) and Troop 215 (Boy Scouts of America) RAF Mildenhall to carry out a day of joint mixed activities including games and target shooting followed by lunch and tree planting. We rounded the day off with a traditional campfire complete with skits, sketches and songs.
Not only did this qualify all those taking part for the International Partnership Award, but also for the World Scouting Messenger of Peace program. We were the first three groups within the UK to complete this program and were all awarded the Messenger of Peace Badge.
